The Goat Brand

The Goat Brand is an Ohio-based streetwear brand that was founded in 2016. the Goat Brand has been putting in the work and building itself up since then, creating a steady stream of drops, collabs, and releases and garnering a physical shop for production. Having been started to make quality athletic-themed fashion pieces with a focus on location, The Goat Brand makes Cleveland a fashion statement in many of its pieces so that it’s always true to its roots. However, the brand doesn’t stray away from greatness elsewhere, making pieces about other cities and teams that influence sports and style.

With fans across the country wearing Goat Brand gear, it’s apparent that the brand is in touch with the sports community and fashion world, as well.

The Goat Brand’s aim is to blend comfort and style by offering streetwear apparel to a new generation in an ever-evolving fashion era.

Our Creator / / Andy Barba

Andy Barba has been the founder and owner of The Goat Brand since 2016 and has been building the brand up since then. When quarantine was at its peak in the spring of 2020, Andy really took that time to dive into the brand. His goal with The Goat Brand has always been about meshing streetwear with sports and local pride. He wanted sportswear and local sports pride to seem different and more unique than the "typical" team shirt you would buy.

Andy attended Benedictine High School in Cleveland, Ohio before accepting a full scholarship to play basketball at Duquesne University. As of May 2022, Andy is finishing up his freshman year as a business major at Duquesne. Andy uses his knowledge of sports, graphic design, and business to run and operate The Goat Brand.

Andy’s first business experience came when he was in the fifth grade and created the company League Ready Customs. League Ready was a custom sock company that specialized in sublimating Nike Elite socks as well as their own brand of socks. The business grew exponentially, and as Andy became too busy with school and basketball, he sold the business in the eighth grade at only 13 years old. He used the money from the sale as well as his business experience to create The Goat Brand.
